Eurofins Humangenetik und Pränatal-Medizin MVZ GmbH (formerly: Pränatal-Medizin München MVZ GmbH) is a partnership of specialist gynaecologists and human geneticists. Both departments have established a quality management system. The first certification to DIN EN ISO 9001 for all organisational processes in the practice, laboratory and clinic took place in November 2011, with ongoing adaptation and monitoring.
One year later, in November 2012, the cytogenetics laboratory and the molecular genetics laboratory were accredited in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 15189. This international standard is based on ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001. With the re-assessment of all areas in September 2017, flexible accreditation was achieved. The laboratories have thus demonstrated their competence to introduce new parameters. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) and molecular cytogenetics using array CGH are therefore also accredited.

Cytogenetic and FISH diagnostics are performed using MetaSystems Ikaros and Isis.
Cytogenetic, molecular cytogenetic and molecular genetic diagnostics are carried out in accordance with the „S2-Leitlinien Humangenetische Diagnostik und genetische Beratung“ of the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Humangenetik e.V. (GfH) and the Berufsverbandes Deutscher Humangenetiker (BVDH) e.V..
