Eurofins Asbestos Sampling & Testing Belgium is specialised to perform (asbestos) air monitoring in accordance with NBN T96-102. The scope of this service includes the installation of air sampling pumps, supervision of these pumps during sampling, and the analysis of the collected filters using phase-contrast microscopy during or after asbestos removal activities. Based on these analyses, the concentration of (asbestos) fibres is calculated and the current level of environmental exposure is determined. Our analysts operate a mobile laboratory that enables air monitoring, analysis, and reporting to be carried out entirely on-site.
In addition, Eurofins Asbestos Sampling & Testing Belgium facilitates the Eurofins network's asbestos analysis services in Belgium. The asbestos analyses are performed by our certified and accredited laboratories in the Netherlands (Eurofins Omegam) and Portugal (Eurofins Lab Environment Testing Portugal). The standard asbestos analysis offered for the Belgian market is performed using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM). We also provide more detailed analyses using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
