Eurofins Central Logistics GmbH consolidates and manages logistics services within the cross-divisional Eurofins laboratory network in Germany, linking more than 50 Eurofins laboratories in a nationwide network that ensures the efficient transport of samples and materials between customers and laboratories.
Central transport structures ensure reliable exchange between sites, while regional collection networks enable samples to be collected directly from customers, guaranteeing their subsequent transportation to the connected Eurofins laboratories.
Eurofins Central Logistics coordinates and optimises internal logistics processes. Its three main areas of focus are the transport of samples (intercompany) between 45 laboratories across various business lines according to a fixed timetable in Germany (LineHaul DE), the collection and delivery of samples and materials from customers, and the centralisation of intralogistics at the campus in Hamburg Harburg.
We offer daily pick-up tours for customer samples in selected regions. We aim to ensure a reliable, on-time and safe collection of samples – directly from the site of the customer. Delivery is either same-day or overnight. In addition, we also offer delivery of empty containers or other materials to the customer.
With Line Haul, we offer a reliable, Germany-wide transport network for the transport of samples and materials between our Eurofins laboratory sites. Every day, we connect our laboratories via direct routes and cross-docking hubs, and by consolidating shipments we ensure efficiency, punctuality and transparency throughout the entire logistics chain. For the evening tours, we operate six vehicles to ensure reliable coverage across the whole of Germany.
Our services also include the transport of dangerous goods and equipment, as well as transport with active cooling.
