Eurofins Forensics Belgium is a forensic science laboratory accredited under ISO/IEC 17025. The laboratory performs analytical examinations of biological, chemical, and trace materials for judicial authorities, private individuals, and companies. Its DNA work includes the extraction and quantification of DNA, STR profiling, and the comparison of profiles for forensic casework as well as kinship‑related requests. In toxicology, the laboratory conducts screening and confirmation of substances such as drugs and alcohol using validated LC‑MS/MS and GC‑MS methods for both judicial investigations and workplace or individual testing. All analyses are carried out using validated methods, documented procedures, and controlled chain‑of‑custody processes.
