Eurofins GeneScan GmbH is the Competence Centre for the analysis of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) within the global Eurofins network.
From the very beginning, the laboratory has played a key role in the development of new methods for detecting GMOs and is regarded as one of the world leaders in molecular biological GMO analysis.

Eurofins GeneScan has extensive experience in residual host cell DNA testing and offers services ranging from assay development to routine testing in a GMP-compliant environment, if required. We have detection methods for identifying plant and animal species, even in highly processed products.
Eurofins GeneScan has played a significant role in the development of new GMO detection methods from the very beginning. As well as developing and validating methods for our own laboratory and our extensive range of kit products, we offer contract development for various applications.
Eurofins GeneScan GmbH carries out food and feed testing, as well as assay development, in accordance with ISO 17025 accreditation. This ensures that all work is carried out competently and reliably, based on defined processes.
We handle customer requests promptly and professionally, and we make specific agreements according to individual customer requirements. The highest analytical quality, consistent order processing and full traceability of our services are based on regular staff training and strict adherence to standardised procedures.
